See where your money has been and where it is heading, on one chart. Import your bank and credit card downloads, let the program categorise them, and plan ahead with a forecast that checks itself against what really happens. Everything stays on your own PC.
Download for WindowsBy downloading and installing, you agree to the Licence Agreement. See the Privacy Note for how your data is handled.
Actual balances up to today and the forecast after it, split by a red line. View by account with a consolidated balance, or by category as income and spending bars.
Read every Quicken or CSV download in your import folder at once. Accounts are recognised, duplicates are skipped, and the bank's balance is checked before anything is recorded.
Each new line gets a suggested category from your rules, your past choices for that payee, or similar payees. Split a transaction over several categories when you need to.
Set up expected pay, bills and transfers on any schedule. Imported lines are matched to the items they fulfil, past due items carry forward, and changed bill amounts are flagged for review.
Leave out a bill or try a purchase, once or repeating, and see the effect on the chart against your saved forecast. Nothing is saved until you decide.
Category, monthly, payee, forecast vs actual and outlook reports. Preview, print or save as PDF, and copy or save CSV for Excel.
Add each bank account and credit card with a starting balance. Balances before and after are worked out from the transactions.
Download transactions from your bank into your import folder and press Import. You review every line before it is recorded.
List what you expect to come in and go out. Each date stays expected until a bank line matches it, you post it, or you skip it.
Everything is kept in a data file on your PC. Keep several files if you like, each backed up automatically when the program closes.
Import everything at once. Save each account's download into your import folder, then press Ctrl+I. Overlapping downloads are safe: a line already recorded is never imported twice.
Open bank files directly. Let the installer link .qfx files to the program, then double click a download wherever it is to go straight to its import.
Read the colours. Suggested categories show green from a rule, blue from how you categorised that payee before, and amber from a similar payee.
Make rules as you go. Use Make Rule on Transactions or during an import, and every description containing that text gets the same category from then on.
Split a purchase. Select a transaction and press Ctrl+L to spread it over several categories. The first part takes the rest, so it always adds up.
Start a forecast from real life. Right click a transaction and choose Add to Forecast to turn a regular bill or pay deposit into a forecast item.
Catch up past entries. Ctrl+M finds forecast dates that look like transactions already recorded and matches them in one step.
Jump between chart and list. With the forecast listing below the chart, select a line to mark its date on the chart, or click the chart to jump to that period.
Find a balance difference. If the bank and the program disagree, Find the Difference on Accounts shows the last import that agreed and the first that didn't.
Undo an import. Import History (Ctrl+Shift+H) can undo a whole import, and any forecast dates it matched become expected again.
